Reminds me very much of the old Front Mission games! Since Square refuses to make a new one, I'll be checking this out! Also love the Patlabor footage! 🤣 As far as battle animations, they don't bother me whatsoever. But for the extremely impatient, you could just include a "skip cinematic" option.

You should change the pilot's year of birth since most of them will be 60s and 70s in the 1970s. And their appearance looks like they are in their mid-20s (Ben & Daisy) to late 30s (Chuck & Elias).
